Fan Forget Me Not - Greenbsoro Photographer, Greensboro Children's boutiqe, High Point Photographer, Corvalis Children's Boutique

So there are so many great networking tools for businesses these days it can be pretty overwhelming. I can't even tell you how long it took me to decide who to host with for my website, let alone getting this blog up and running and still I feel like I have a million things I could be doing. The internet has opened up so much as far as communication/marketing goes, but man there is so much out there its incredibly overwhelming. As I get things going out there in the world wide web, one of the first things I have created is a facebook fan page. Check it out, and if you like our work.. become a fan!

The balancing act - mom meets photographer - Greensboro Children's photographer, High Point photographer

So today, like all days I have alot of business stuff to be working on. And today, like all days I am at home with my son. Its hard trying to be a stay at home mom, while giving him my attention, but also a businesswoman of my own. I do get a few hours a day to work on things. This morning, RJ's Chinese tutor is here so I get to sit down and work a bit. That doesn't last too long though because when RJ sees me on the computer he ofcourse tries to pull me away. Its hard for him to realize that if mommy doesn't spend time "working" mommy would go crazy doing playdough all day. I need an outlet too and working for me is that outlet. That's what is awesome about my job. I love it, I can do it on my own schedule, even if that schedule is totally unpredictable, and most importantly, it doesnt have to consume me and take me away from what is most important (my family). Its turned from an obligation for me which it was in my previous position with at studio (ie me feeling guilty I was spending too much time doing it) to be my passion again. I missed that, and I'm happy to have it back.

I also just want to give a shout out to all of you who have been so supportive of me during this transition. I have received SO many wonderful compliments about my work, and SO many encouraging statements saying I should have done this a long time ago. Thank you! I look forward to creating some beautiful Forget Me Nots for many new families in Greensboro, High Point, North Carolina and around the country,
