Perfection

Yesterday we received a box in the mail from Africa. And I won't go into details in this post (to come later) what all was in that box, or why it came to us. But it was that box that promted a trip to our own little Africa here in North Carolina, the Zoo in Asheboro. Now you might look below and think, what does this stuf have to do with the zoo? Well one of my favorite things about going to the zoo, aside from the animals ofcourse, is the amazing array of flowers you can find as you walk the trails. And today, we just so happened to be there during that golden hour of light, as I like to say the time of perfection for photographers when the most beautiful images can be created. I did something a litle different, maybe out of focus, maybe under exposed, maybe not exactly your perfect composition, but I played and played today with my camera and captured some interesting and beautiful photography of things not often noticed at the zoo.. including you guessed it.. some real live forget me nots even.
