High Point photographer, Greensboro Photographer - Living in Greensboro

One of the many reason why Greensboro is such a great place to live is there is such a diverse group of people here, and such a love for culture. For the last 3 weeks, and occaionally other nights during the summer we have attended MUSEP (Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park). For a few hours, every Sunday night there is a free concert in one of the many area parks. This year we've heard bluegrass, folk, and the city concert band. Its such a family friendly event, and ofcourse RJ loves it because we are outside, there is dirt, and there are lots and lots of dogs and other kids. :-) He really has a blast! And ofcourse as his mom, I have a good time too seeing him having so much fun. The first night we went, I basically just chased him around the park which was a little exhausting. I have found though, that if I find a big enough dirt hole, or an interesting enough tree, he will stay put and although he is filthy by the end of the concert, I am able to actually sit back and enjoy the music a bit! ;) These were taken a couple weeks ago at Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden.

Greensboro children's boutique - Greensboro children's photographer

I did another incredible shoot this week for a gorgeous children's boutique clothing line. This little girl was just born to be a model. She was so much fun and such a cutie. We had a great time in beautiful Fayetteville today! Thanks for coming out!

Corvalis baby photographer - Greensboro baby photographer - Daddy's little man

I'm going back and updating some old posts today and I just wanted to say one thing about these pictures.... I get sooo many dads who just LOVE these. Moms are always telling me when they book a session that their hubby just loves the pictures of the little guy in the suit with the green chair. I think its so funny and wonder why that is.. because he looks like he's a mean guy? lol

This little man is just the sweetest little guy you will ever meet and I am so blessed to be his one and only photographer. For those of you who haven't seen these before, enjoy!

About Me.. Susan Anderson - Greensboro photographer, High Point photographer

I am a mom, the wife of a soldier, and an artist. I love to capture life's precious moments for my family and those around me. There are two things that drew me to this profession. First is my love of children. For as long as I can remember I have been able to make kids smile. From babysitting, to teaching, to now being a mommy, I have a gift and a way with kids that makes them feel secure, and comfortable. I love to see them happy. I love to get to know them, and even more so, I love to capture their personality and show that in my work. I am also a photographer because I appreciate art in all its forms. I am a lover of music, dance, painting, sculpture, and architecture. I have traveled the world, and in doing so, I developed a love for capturing the breathtaking scenes that can be found sometimes in everyday life. From a poor Egyptian woman holding her small baby close to her breast, to a fairytale castle perched atop a mountainside, there have been so many things I have seen throughout the last several years worth remembering. It would have been unimaginable to not have developed a means for sharing those things with others who may never get the opportunity to see them, and so I taught myself a way to do that, photography. I look at what I do now in the same type of manner. As a mother, I have learned there is nothing more precious than watching your little one grow. I also now understand how you can be happy to see things like their first steps, but at the same time sad to know those first steps wont happen again. These are fleeting moments which go by so quickly, but which should never be forgotton. That is the reason why I do this. I want to capture those moments for kids and parents to love and appreciate for a lifetime. That is the reason why I created Forget Me Not Photography.
